A FEW WEEKS ago I had a stint at Topshop where I was working as a visual merchandiser, gaining experience on what's involved on the changes that are made to store for the arrival of AW13. The experience was enjoyable and I learnt loads. One of the things that would baffle me on a daily basis was how many of the workers there would wear heels on a daily basis and I'm talking SUPER high platform type heels that make my feet curl with pain by just looking at them on the store shelves. I felt very unglamorous (and short) in my boyish brogues. Although I do partial to the occasional pair od kitten heels and a 2" chunky heeled boot, I always look for good comfy flats for everyday wear and the high-street is spoiling us for choice. It was difficult narrowing down the many flat shoes that I have ooohed and aaahhhhd over this morning to 5, but here they are! Which ones are your favourite pair?
1. Brewster Snaffle Loafer at Russell and Bromley
2. Bette Patent Loafer at Whistles
3. Repetto 'Jackson' Shoe at Farfetch
4. Perpignan Monk Shoe at Topshop
5. Pointed Leather Ballerina Shoes at Zara
