Burgers and Milkshakes

I have the same resolutions every year: to try and eat better. Hell, it's the resolutions I make every Sunday night and every Monday morning I of course find myself craving chocolates, cake, banoffee pie-all of the above. Funny thing is, no matter how many eyes I see roll when I announce to friends/family that I am no longer going to be consuming x, y or z items, I always feel optimistic that I will succeed. This year was no different, come the second day (let's face it, nobody starts on the first) of the new year, I was found roaming around the fruit and veg aisle, thinking up ways I can introduce asparagus into my meals. Come the following week and I'll be up to my usual routine of burger munching and milkshake sipping. If any of this is sounding familiar, let's not feel too bad because we get another new year to celebrate-the Chinese new year! Let's hope the resolutions stick this time round, I'm as optimistic as ever. Don't look back.
