Question, it's exactly a week away from February, is it still okay to wish you guys a "Happy New Year"?
2013 has so far been great and considering the well-known fact of January being one of the bleakest months of the year, I'm massively surprised with the progress of the year thus far. I have to admit however, that this unexpected burst of happiness does stem from the requisite sale shopping having made three very exciting purchases. Number one, a tartan scarf, number two a pair of gold sneakers and finally number three-la pièce de résistance: a 3.1 Phillip Lim sweatshirt-the item I was undoubtedly most excited to receive. Now, as a rule of thumb, anything that you look forward to is invariably always a disappointment and considering my love for the pre-fall collection by said designer has been a growing obsession since January of last year (yup, an entire year!) I was pretty much prepared to have the package sent back upon arrival but I am happy to say that it was every bit the fantasy and I cannot wait to live in it for the remainder of the winter months.
It has also come to my attention that my blog is now two years old (let's hear the applause) and this explains the overhaul of pictures. I present to you, 2012 in pictures, enjoy.
Oh and before I forget, Happy New Year!
